Daniel Bernstein

Postdoctoral Research Fellow, LIDS, Mathematical Sciences

Daniel Irving Bernstein is an NSF Mathematical Sciences Postdoctoral Research Fellow. His research area is algebraic statistics and his specific interests include low-rank matrix completion, tropical geometry, contingency tables, and phylogenetics. Daniel holds a PhD (2018) and an MS (2015) in Mathematics from North Carolina State University and a BS (2013) in Mathematics from Davidson College.
