Anuran Makur is a Postdoctoral Associate at the Sociotechnical Systems Research Center (SSRC) and the Laboratory of Information and Decision Systems (LIDS) in Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He received his Sc.D. and S.M. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) from MIT, and his B.S. degree in EECS from University of California, Berkeley. His research interests are in information theory, statistics, and applied probability.
