This is an exciting time for IDSS as we lay the foundation for a new community of faculty, researchers, students, and staff at MIT which will emphasize multidisciplinary approaches to solving problems, explore and integrate ideas from different disciplines, and foster innovation and collaboration.

IDSS is currently developing and introducing new academic degree programs, admitting students, hiring faculty and researchers, and seeding new research collaborations.
